It is so very true. We want to believe that all of the human experience is to be based in gardens of roses. However, the harsh truth is that under the surface of a learned social code is hedonistic and real issues. I believe that humans are blessed with the purity of thought and reason and I have great faith in and for us all. Once we get past our egos and desires we can be happier in thought.

Morning, it’s interesting isn’t it. Lots of people tend to look outwards, I do tend to look inwards a lot of the time. Our minds, thoughts and emotions are fascinating things aren’t they.

Completely agree, that’s why I value your insights and courage to share the inner world. Jung said we should look out when younger and focus inside again as we grow older to prepare for the journey after this life. Alchemists used the acronym V.I.T.R.I.O.L. – it’s Latin and stands for ‘Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultem Lapidem’ and translates roughly as ‘Visit the interior of the Earth and transform yourself with the Philosopher’s Stone’ – in other words, gain knowledge of yourself from going within and grow as a person
