QUESTION FOR BLOGGERS

Hi mates – the Reader function on my blog went gone crazy for a while, only showing posts from blogs I don’t follow.

Now it has returned to normal.

Has this happened to anyone else?

🙂

  1. I have to clear my cache once a week or strange things happen to the reader… Sometimes it shows nothing at all.

    • Cheers – I’ll try that mate.
      Does that count as cleaning?

  2. I have never had this happen. At least it isn’t showing your private messages or things you wrote three years ago right on the front page of your blog- this happened to Facebook the other day. (Not that I use it.) FACEFAIL!

  3. Hi, oh that’s strange isn’t it. I’m not sure what that’s all about. Glad it’s returned to normal for you though, just going through my reader now. All the best

  4. No, doesn’t happen to me, or hasn’t yet. Just doesn’t bother showing half the ones I do follow.

    • Thanks for this – I wonder why this happens?
I read that Facebook only shows a third of the people stuff it claims to do. So you make a post and they tell you there’s an audience of one figure, but it’s really much less.
The cynical answer is that all these social media operators are lying BS merchants.

      • Chucked FB ages ago. Too many petty spats and time wasting.
I’m sure they are (and I keep trying to get a job with them – I need to lie better).
It would just be nice if my fave blogs came up all the time, which they don’t, which then leads me to conclude reader is no more than a waste of space.

      • What I hate is when millions of posts come from just one blogger…
