I’ve just watched a short film entitled
This what it’s about…
He was called the King of the Jews, believed to be a Messiah. Just before Passover, the Romans beheaded him and crucified many of his followers outside Jerusalem.
But his name was not Jesus… it was Simon, a self-proclaimed Messiah who died four years before Christ was born.
Now, new analysis of a three-foot-tall stone tablet from the first century B.C., being hailed by scholars as a “Dead Sea Scroll on stone,” speaks of an early Messiah and his resurrection.
Was Simon of Peraea real? Did his life serve as the prototype of a Messiah for Jesus and his followers? And could this tablet shake up the basic premise of Christianity?
Watching this film reminded me of the real Dead Sea Scrolls.
The initial discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, by Bedouin shepherd Muhammed edh-Dhib, his cousins Jum’a Muhammed and Khalil Musa, took place between November 1946 and February 1947.
Eventually a total of a collection of 972 scrolls were recovered, consisting of texts from what is now known as the Hebrew Bible, or the Old Testament, and extra-biblical documents found on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea, from which they derive their name.
They were specifically located at Khirbet or Qumran in what was then British Mandate Palestine, and since 1947, what has been known as the West Bank.
The texts, and coins found with them, have been dated to the centuries immediately before and after when Jesus was supposed to have lived.
When these discoveries were first made, the Catholic Church thought there may well be evidence of Jesus and his teachings but that wasn’t the case. Some have argued that the church immediately set about suppressing this knowledge.
According to the texts, the men of Qumran fervently believed in a doctrine of last things. They fled to the desert and were readying themselves for the imminent judgment, when their enemies would be vanquished and they, God’s elect, would be given final victory in accordance with the predictions of the prophets.
However, the evidence shows that they actually believed in three messiahs— a prophet, a priest and a king.
Dr. Will Varner – Professor of Old Testament at The Master’s College and Director of IBEX, the college’s campus in Israel.
Yet no mention whatsoever is made of Jesus or John the Baptist in all these texts.
Doesn’t this seem unlikely if Jesus was the person Christianity claims?
The only reference to Jesus at all can be found in the writings of the Roman historian Titus Flavius Josephus (37 – c. 100), and that was written some decades after the period.
And there’s no evidence in Roman archives, yet the Romans were known for their administration.
Drugs, politics, Mexican Narco-cartels and Mormons. What could be more exciting?
In this set of 7 short films, VICE founder Shane Smith went down to Ciudad Juárez, near the US border, to investigate this bizarre story.
We learn how the “Mormon Manson” turned his family into assassins, leading to the murder of 40 people, all in the name of blood atonement. The cartel boss “El Rikin” gets revenge against a local Mormon community leader.
The Mormons illegally arm themselves and implement counter-terrorism techniques the US military used in Iraq and Afghanistan. VICE team is stalked by the cartel after going on patrol with the police and drinking with the Mormons.
We also learn what Mitt Romney’s Mexican cousins think about his strict immigration policies. VICE talks to Mitt Romney’s Mexican relatives about the time a family member was kidnapped and held for ransom by the cartel.
We also hear how the so-called War On Drugs has failed and ideas on how to reduce the violence.
Coming to a church near you soon…
This is unbelievable…
Police in Poland have launched an investigation after photographs were posted on a school website of 14-year-old children licking whipped cream from the knees of a priest.
The series of pictures show boys and girls, apparently pretending to be cats, approaching the priest, seated in a battered armchair, on all fours.
They then take turns at licking cream from his legs in what the school has described as an “initiation ceremony” for first year pupils at the school in the south-west town of Lubin where the priest is also the director…
“This is very disturbing,” said Marek Michalak, the Polish government’s spokesman on child affairs. “Surely the boundaries of decency and acceptable forms of bodily contact have been exceeded. I’ve ordered an enquiry and demanded an explanation from all relevant authorities…”
But the priest involved, Father Marcin Kozyra, defended the “ceremony”.
“There has never been a complaint from either parents…

The Roman Catholic Church is an Evil Scam
Most everybody knows priests in the Catholic Church have abused children since time immemorial, and this begs the question, “How has this been allowed to continue for so long?” And also, “What steps have been taken to stop this and how are they protecting children now?”
Well, the answers don’t make comfortable reading. In the same way tobacco companies have shifted their evil wares to less developed countries, the RC church moves its abusing clerics to other parishes, dioceses and nations.
And then it covers up the crimes.
In the USA alone over 6500 kids have been abused and thousands of priests accused. Now imagine how many have been molested globally…
So what did His Holiness the Pope do to help these thousands of children? He wrote the Crimen Sollicitationis.
Click here for BBC documentary exposing this awful organisation.
Created in 1962 by one Cardinal Ratzinger, Crimen Sollicitationis was issued in secret to bishops across the world and outlined procedures to be followed when dealing with allegations of child abuse, homosexuality and bestiality by members of the clergy.
It swore all parties involved to secrecy on pain of excommunication from the Catholic Church.
This document was reissued in 2001 by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger and sent to all bishops.
Yet rather than ordering more openness and cooperation with the authorities as demanded by both law enforcers and the victims, Ratzinger reiterated its policies and ensured that the Code of Silence be applied to all cases of child abuse involving a priest.
Cardinal Ratzinger also instructed that all cases should now be referred to his office directly and that he would maintain ‘exclusive competence’ over the handling of allegations.
This is the Catholic Church’s policy to this day and Cardinal Ratzinger is now Pope Benedict XVI.
The policy laid out in this evil document has led to systemic failure and allowed a significant number of priests to abuse again, and further children have been put at risk.
How can people still allow these evil men access to their children? They claim to be ‘Holy’ but in reality act more like Cosa Nostra – the Sicilian Mafia.
The Roman Catholic hierarchy have a Code of Silence, the Mafia have Omerta.
Protect your children by never leaving them alone with a priest, vicar or any other so-called ‘Holy’ man and join the fight to
KEEP RELIGION OUT OF SCHOOLS
Britain has colluded with the Pakistani leadership for decades as a way of stopping democratic change which would weaken the UK’s power in the region. It is the same in Egypt where successive UK governments have worked behind the scenes with the Muslim Brotherhood to prevent nationalist and liberal forces gaining power. ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Demonstrators angry over an anti-Islam film accused a local businessman in southern Pakistan of blasphemy, forcing the police to open a case and driving him and his family into hiding, following an argument that broke out when he refused to join their protest, officials said Wednesday.
The incident demonstrates the potential for abuse of the country’s strict blasphemy laws as well as the intense feelings the film, which denigrates Islam’s Prophet Muhammed, has unleashed in Pakistan.
At least two people have died in protests against the film, which has generated widespread animosity across the Muslim world.
The incident in the city of Hyderabad began when hundreds of protesters rallied Saturday. Some protesters demanded that businessman Haji Nasrullah Khan shut his roughly 120 shops in solidarity, said police officer Munir Abbasi.
When Khan refused, one of his tenants said his decision supported the film, the officer said.

SATIRISTS OF THE WORLD – UNITE!
A French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, ridiculed the Prophet Mohammad today by portraying him naked in cartoons.
The French government, which had urged the magazine not to print the images, said it was temporarily shutting down premises including embassies and schools in 20 countries on Friday, when protests sometimes break out after Muslim prayers.
Riot police were deployed to protect the Paris offices of the satirical weekly after it hit the newsstands with a cover showing an Orthodox Jew pushing the turbaned figure of Mohammad in a wheelchair. On the inside pages, several caricatures of the Prophet showed him naked.
Reacting to the publication, Essam Erian, acting head of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party, told Reuters: “We reject and condemn the French cartoons that dishonour the Prophet and we condemn any action that defames the sacred according to people’s beliefs.”
Calling for a UN treaty against insulting religion, he added: “We condemn violence and say that peaceful protests are a right for everyone. I hope there will be a popular western and French reaction condemning this.”
One of the Charlie Hebdo cartoons entitled “Mohammad: a star is born,” depicted a bearded figure crouching over to display naked buttocks and genitals, a star covering his anus. A second cartoon, in reference to the scandal over a French magazine’s decision to publish topless photos of the wife of Britain’s Prince William, showed a topless, bearded character with the caption: “Riots in Arab countries after photos of Mrs. Mohammad are published.”
“We have the impression that it’s officially allowed for Charlie Hebdo to attack the Catholic far-right but we cannot poke fun at fundamental Islamists,” Charlie Hebdo editor Stephane Charbonnier, who drew the front-page cartoon, said. “It shows the climate — everyone is driven by fear, and that is exactly what this small handful of extremists who do not represent anyone wants — to make everyone afraid, to shut us all in a cave,” he told Reuters.
