CRAP OFFENSIVE FILM “Innocence of Muslims” CAUSES DEATH OF US AMBASSADOR IN LIBYA

The US Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, and three other staff were killed during an attack in eastern Libya city Benghazi over Jewish US-produced film deemed insulting by Muslims.
Aljazeera film report here
Trailer of crappy offensive film “Innocence of Muslims” here – NOTE it’s really rubbish and designed to cause trouble.
After US police in New York and other cities have harassed and targeted Muslims and the CIA has directed drone attacks in Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other countries, it’s hardly surprising many radical Islamic militants would act violently towards US people and property.
It’s always sad when folk die and an ambassador is no exception. But let’s get it in proportion, 30,000 poor kids die every day globally from preventable illnesses – that’s the real tragedy of our times.
But the old journalist’s adage is true – one American death is more newsworthy than 100 poor folks’ demise…

  1. I’ve just watched the trailer… It would be hard to get more ridiculous than that. Infuriating.

    • And people die for that? Somebody’s done this deliberately to cause uproar…

      • …and of course the ‘educated’ side has no excuse. Indoctrinated fanatics don’t know any better, but people in California cannot claim ignorance.

      • Reminds me of those evil pastors that burn Korans and attack gay folk…

  2. Aljazeera claimed earlier today the film was made by an Israeli filmmaker, Sam Bacile, however my friend at the Dear Kitty. Some Blog has pointed out this isn’t true. Thanks for bringing this to my attention x
Apologies for posting this comment – I thought it was the latest information at the time.

    • The filmmaker’s name is not Sam Bacile. He is not Israeli. He is not Jewish.

      • From the Raw Story article:

Speaking to The Atlantic, in a story published later Wednesday afternoon, Klein admitted that “Sam Bacile” is not real, claiming he doesn’t know the man’s real name.

“I don’t know that much about him,” he reportedly said. “I met him, I spoke to him for an hour. He’s not Israeli, no. I can tell you this for sure, the State of Israel is not involved, … His name is a pseudonym. All these Middle Eastern folks I work with have pseudonyms. I doubt he’s Jewish. I would suspect this is a disinformation campaign.”

      • Thanks I read it when you posted – I’ve changed my earlier comments on the original post – but we still don’t know who did it.

  3. Yes, we still have to find out the real identity of the filmmakers.
