A MAN’S PLACE IS IN THE KITCHEN
If men
stayed at home
and
did the domestic work
we
would
have
a
lot
fewer
wars.

It’s a cake slice so rather blunt. I suppose it might fall on someone’s foot…

Thanks – being male myself that’s a lot of comfort ๐
I know lots of blokes do prepare food, but there’s still plenty of sexism and old fashioned modes of thinking out there.
This was meant as a prick to the consciences of several male bloggers I converse with…

That’s good, I like to comfort people. It was a comment from the heart as he isn’t around right now and I’m just realising how much he actually does that I am now having to do ๐ฆ
In fact the last time we were apart for a while I bought a dishwasher – for him – because I was so sick of doing the dishes.
Sexism and old-fashioned thinking? Tell me about it.
Oddly my partner (construction) and our neighbour (ex-cop turned brick salesperson) would happily hang out the washing together chatting over the garden fence as they did it. Wish I’d got a photo, it was a nice stereotype breaker. Me and the other woman were out at work obviously.
If you want men only comments all you have to do is add a discrete MO somewhere ๐

I certainly don’t want only men commenting – I was just explaining why I posted that at that time ๐
